Meloche Group announced today its intention to move its administrative offices to Beauharnois in order to increase the space dedicated to the manufacturing of aerostructure and aircraft engine components in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

With its four production sites, including one in Bromont and three in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, the company is looking to maximize its plant space to meet the demand.

Indeed, the high growth rate of Meloche Group signifies that the organization will have to keep hiring work force, on both the administrative and production levels, in addition to acquiring new machines to serve the needs of its clients. Its head office located in the parc industriel et portuaire Perron is therefore at full capacity and a development plan was studied from an expansion standpoint.

“Meloche Group has been rooted in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield since its inception by Réjean Meloche in 1974, specifies Hugue Meloche, President and CEO. That is the reason why we will keep the majority of our operations here by transforming our current offices in production facilities.”

Espace 30 in Beauharnois

Located near exit 22 of Highway 30, the future administrative offices will be situated in the La Centrale building of the Espace 30 district. The strategic location was chosen in part because it is at the heart of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Beauharnois-Salaberry and Châteauguay regions.

“We are faced with the same recruitment issues as most industries, explains Anne-Renée Meloche, Vice-President Human Resources and Communications. By moving closer to pools of specialized workers, we are alleviating employee attraction and retention problems for our administrative department.”

The company is expecting to occupy the new offices in early December 2019.
