Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future

Groupe Meloche places sustainable development at the heart of its strategic vision. Our ESG commitment is based on a structured, transparent approach aligned with best practices in the aerospace industry. We are actively working to reduce our environmental footprint, support our teams, and uphold the highest standards of governance.

Groupe Meloche’s ESG Vision

We aim to build a responsible, resilient, and innovative company that contributes to the transition toward a greener and more sustainable economy. Our environmental, social, and ethical performance is essential to meeting the expectations of our customers, employees, and partners.

Environment

Reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adopting eco-responsible practices are integral parts of our business strategy.

Reduction Targets for our scope 1 and 2 

• 50% by 2030
• 75% by 2040
• 90% by 2050

Priority Actions by 2030

1. Energy and Buildings
   • Use 75% renewable natural gas (RNG) in our facilities.
   • Optimize energy consumption and improve the overall energy efficiency of our buildings.
2. Vehicles
   • Replace our delivery vehicle with a 100% electric vehicle within the next five years.
3. Refrigerants
   • Implement a preventive maintenance program for refrigeration systems.
   • Gradually deploy a replacement plan for units using low-emission refrigerants, moving towards the use of CO₂ as a refrigerant, offering the greatest reduction potential.

Waste Management

We aim to divert 90% of compostable materials from landfills by 2030.

• a gender-balanced board of directors and management committee;
• support from experts to structure our environmental approach;
• the progressive integration of environmental performance criteria in collaboration with our suppliers.
